Oreon 10

We listen to the community.

As Oreon is a newcomer to the Linux family, our original plans were to make an easier to use version of AlmaLinux, but over time, we have received a lot more demand, which lead to criticism. This criticism regarded the purpose of Oreon. Most think that Oreon is not worth being in the Linux family, while others think it’s awesome. One way or another, our team has come to a final decision that we will be making Oreon a more independent Linux distribution rather than an AlmaLinux spin. We are working with our team to set up our infrastructure for this change.
